Original German DRK (German red cross) book 1942

Original German book of the Deutsche Roten Kreuzes from 1942, also called Einführung in die Krankenpflege. This book was written by Prof. Dr. Otto von Frisch, chefartz of the DRK krankenhauses in Wien. Inside the book is a loose page leaf about First Aid (unknown whether this is from the book itself). The book is in good condition and contains, among other things, a lot of information and 76 pictures about burns, broken bones, disinfection etc etc.

Original German Der staat Der Arbeit und des Friedens cigarette album

German cigarette album called Der staat Der Arbeit und des Friedens. Very nice cigarette album with almost every photo in it (Mist picture 254, 195, 105 and 62) An album that is very hard to find in this condition these days, this book is almost in MINT condition. Published in 1934 by Cigaretten Bilderdienst of Altona Bahrenfeld, it documents the first year of government in Germany after Hitler took power. A large assortment of photos from the general public at work and play, through to the senior members of the NSDAP and military – Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler and Air Minister Hermann Göring, Sepp Dietrich, Professor Fritz Todt, Joseph Goebbels etc etc. The special thing about this album is that the picture of SA leader Röhm has been removed and changed by Viktor Lutze after Germany found out that Röhm was homosexual. The people thought that Röhm had embarrassed the German people and therefore all his pictures were removed from these kinds of books. There are also 2 pieces of paper that were in the packages in which you received the pictures.
